The world economy is taking a tumble with the Ukraine crisis. With the heavy international sanctions families around the world are barely getting by due to the rapid inflations in the prices of commodities. Youths in Afghanistan, Thailand and Indonesia have taken up crypto currency trading as a solution to brace against the international sanctions.

Arezo Akrimi, a 19 year old Afghanistan girl, simply took her phone out and exchanged cryptocurrency for cash at a currency exchange office situated in Herat, just this week. The university Student claims to have been inspired by the American NGO Code to Inspire. She is one of 100 students that earns approximately $200 a month by exchanging cryptocurrency into cash in Herat, Afghanistan.

As cryptocurrency is invulnerable to global sanction many of the youths have focused their attention on cryptocurrency trading. Since crypto offers a 50-50 chance of producing profit some of the adults tend to shy away from the innovation. But youths have acknowledged that it is a game of Chance, Knowledge and timing.

Thailand has considered allowing payments to be done through cryptocurrencies . Indonesia too has shown a major growth in the acceptance in trading of cryptocurrency . Transactions in 2021 reached $59.83 billion which is 14 times the value of transactions done in 2020.

Trading of cryptocurrency is for anyone to try, as long as you have a strategy and can manage risks. Getting started is as easy as opening an account and building a trading plan. The youths engaged in crypto trading have called it a “life line”.
