Tweeters throughout the world are expressing their opinions about the purchase. No one Knows what Elon Musk has in store for Twitter for sure. But he provided a few clues about his plans. Elon Musk has always been vocal about his dislike for the content policies of Twitter. Speculations state that Elon musk will reduce the content restrictions on Twitter. According to sources, he might even restore suspended accounts.

Mr Musk proclaimed that free speech was the “bedrock” of a functioning democracy, as the purchase was approved. Also, he designated twitter as the “digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated”.

Mr Musk also stated his concerns for adverts on twitter and the power corporation hold over Twitter. But currently 90% of Twitter’s income comes from adverts. Twitter is also expected to get the feature of editing tweets after posting them. Mr Musk recently asked his followers if they would like to see an edit option using a Twitter poll. If the Twitter team develops this button, tweeters could finally fix errors in their tweets.
